But didn't this place used to sell Homebrew? Did the same folks start a brewery? Yes, and no.
The Method site was once a home-brew shop, and coincidentally co-founder Sean even worked there! Serendipitous? Maybe, but one thing is for sure – this site is integral to what Method stands for which is making quality, method-driven beer for the Islington and Newcastle locals. We want this place to your second home.
We made Method for a few reasons. Mostly for you, but also because:

We spend our weekends hunting for the perfect beer, why not make that a job too?

We wanted in on the Beaumont Street community. It’s the best, right? The food is already sorted with heaps of exceptional places so we thought why not add to the magic by bringing delicious brews and have our neighbours take care of the food? We’re going to change the meals up regularly, so watch this space.

We’re a welcoming bunch and wanted to make a place where everyone felt at home. Doesn’t matter if you don’t know your IPAs from your lagers or if you want to sit down with us and talk in depth about some obscure brewing process, here, you’ll be welcomed. Bring your babies (fur ones or humans) and have a nice time for the right amount of time. No dickheads.

The guy pouring your beer, packing your order and clearing your glasses probably owns the place. We even built the place ourselves with the help of our family and friends (you might recognise them too). We are hands on to ensure you have a great time at our brewery.
